Dr. Guse is a Kansas City native and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Psychology and Chemistry. She then journeyed to Phoenix, Arizona to attend The Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, a Nationally Accredited Naturopathic Medical School to receive her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine (ND). She is a member of the Kansas Naturopathic Physicians Association (KNPA) and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP). She also holds a specialty certification in Naturopathic Acupuncture.

As a child growing up in a family that was strongly rooted in the world of traditional medicine, Dr. Guse was in and out of the doctors’ office and often on pharmaceutical drugs. Because she was an athlete and active most of the time, she was able to keep her health under control as she got older. It wasn’t until she was in college that she found this new and promising world of Naturopathic Medicine. She became enamored with the idea that our bodies have the ability to heal and that drugs are not always necessary. Finding this almost secretive way of living was the turning point that changed her life. She now finds the greatest joy sharing this knowledge and way of life with her patients, family, and friends. In her spare time, you can find Dr. Guse walking or hiking in nature or visiting the many dog parks in the area with her dog. She is an advocate for the humane treatment of animals and supports animal adoption projects locally. She has a huge heart for animal rights and the preservation of our planet.
